R.I.O. Minesare located along the Eastern Tiers, mostly dug into sheer cliffs where only Airships can hover and tie up to landing platforms for the delivery of mining equipment, supplies and personnel and collection of precious ores, minerals and stones.
One main passage through the Tiers lies near the southern end of the mountain range. Ground travel through the jungles is exceedingly difficult, and is generally avoided in favour of airship and air raft transport.
